How it Started
Keeper’s Heart Farm
Keeper’s Heart was born from a childhood dream turned reality—a five-acre mini farm where nature itself seemed to affirm its destiny. While attending an open house, heart-shaped rocks and natural formations appeared as signs that this place was meant to be. An offer was made, and a lifelong vision came to life.
Shortly after moving in, Jolene, a beloved horse, and Basil, a loyal canine companion, became the foundation of the farm. The family grew with the addition of two rescued feral cats, Alice and Dinah in Wonderland. Though fulfilling, building and maintaining this haven has been a testament to resilience, independence, and unwavering dedication.
At Keepers Heart Farm, every resident has a story and a special place in the heart of the farm. Jo, the spirited mare, is on a journey of learning and growth with the help of gentle horsemanship. Basil Hayden, the fearless yet snuggly Perro de Presa Canario, keeps a watchful eye over her home while enjoying her favorite pastimes—zoomies, truck rides, and ruling the roost. Each animal adds to the soul of the farm, creating a space filled with love, purpose, and unwavering companionship.
